The video above was my first ever attempt at 2D animating. I had absolutely no clue what I was doing, but I was determined to create it. Finishing this piece was a significant milestone for me and it holds a special place in my heart.
I have always wanted to become an animator, but actually diving in and creating my own animated was a challenging experience. After completing this project I had a new found respect for animators and everyone in the industry. The process taught me a lot about patience and perseverance. I realized animation requires careful attention to detail. While it was challenging and sometimes exhausting, I realized this is what I wanted to do. I saw how beautiful my art in movement was and I was in awe of my creation. Seeing my ideas come to life was such an empowering moment. I was so proud of myself for creating this little piece and I hope you guys enjoy it!
